Knock You Naked Brownies

Knock You Naked Brownies

1 pkg German choc cake mix
1 can evaporated milk divided (1/3 + 1/2)
60 Caramel morsels (1 bag indiv. caramels unwrapped)
1 cup semi-sweet choc chips
1 stick butter
1 cup nuts

Mix cake mix w/ 1/3 cup evap. milk, nuts, and melted butter in large mixing bowl.
Preheat oven to 350F.
Divide batter into two.
Press half of batter mixture into bottom of 13x9x2 ceramic or glass greased pan.
Bake for 8 minutes. Remove.
Melt caramels w/remaining 1/2 evap milk in microwave.
Pour caramel sauce over baked bottom half of brownies. Let caramel harden.
Put remaining batter on top in thinly pieces or sections. (batter will bake together).
Bake for 28 minutes. Let cool completely before cutting.
