Easter Blessings at Our Tables

Easter Sunday was a food filled day for us, starting with lunch at my parents' house. I have to admit I was lazy and never got around to making the desserts I planned to bring. Alas, we had more than enough food to enjoy.
Holidays with my family usually include a roasted meat, seafood, noodles and our ethnic home cooked favorites. Here are the foods that adorned my family's table... to feed 7 people:
Buffalo Chicken Pizza Squares
Pancit ~ Rice Noodles w/Chicken & Vegetables
Garlic Roasted Prime Rib of Beef
Pork & Chicken Adobo (Soy Sauce Pork & Chicken)
Steamed King Crab Legs
Pork Sinigang (Pork Tamarind Soup)
Easter Luncheon 2007

Holidays with my inlaws are also lavish with food. I was lucky to marry into a family that has a passion for food and my husband's relatives also were caterers before retiring. Just another reason among many that we were meant for each other! Here are the foods that my inlaws dressed their Easter dinner table with:
Fresh Spring Rolls
Filipino Lumpia (Eggrolls)
Seaweed Salad
Crab & Vegetable Omelette
Baked Fish Steak w/ Rosemary, Garlic & Capers
Seafood Vegetable Stir Fry
Seafood Linguine
Dinuguan (Beef Blood Stew)
Filipino Menudo (Meat Stew)
Fried Milkfish
Embutido (Stuffed Meat Roll)
Korean BBQ Kalbi
Brown Sugar & Honey Glazed Ham
