Roasted Asparagus with & without proscuitto

This recipe was made for my 2007 Holiday Party featuring an Italian inspired menu. You can read about it and view the additional recipes I made for this event HERE.

Roasted Asparagus
with & without proscuitto
3-4 lbs fresh asparagus
3 pkgs proscuitto
olive oil
salt & pepper to taste

Cut bottoms of asparagus accordingly to freshness. (snap test)
Drizzle oil over asparagus and season with salt & pepper.
Carefully wrap half the amount of asparagus with sliced proscuitto.
Place all asparagus on a baking sheet.
Preheat oven to 350.
Bake in preheated oven for 12-15 minutes.

  1. sounds yummy.
    While in Belgium I had Belgian endive, ham and a cheese sauce that was yummy too.
    They called the endive witloof or similar.
