Fondue Night with Friends

February 15, 2009 · WCC Administr@tr · 5 Comments

We have been getting together with both Megan and her husband Matt every Friday this past month at various restaurants around town. This past week, both of them graciously hosted our weekly get togethers for a fondue night… and what a fabulous spread she prepared! Her menu for the evening included:

Prosciutto & Brie Rollupsimg_0269-1835841

Smoked salmon Cucumber Rosettes

Goat cheese & pesto bruschetta

Beer Cheese fondue
with Granny Smith apples, toasted bread cubes, & turkey sausage

Chocolate fondue (which we brought)
with strawberries, bananas, apples & pound cake provided by Megan

*Megan’s ‘Famous’ Snicker Surprise Cookies

Glazed Popcorn

Plenty of wine & coffee

Mmmm, these sound good! I have a recipe that uses peanut butter cookie dough around snickers. YUM!

Oooh I’d love if you could post the recipe for the prosciutto and brie rolls. Those are two of my favorite foods.

I love candy bar cookies! I can see myself breaking these up in chunks, popping them in the microwave for a few seconds then dumping them on top of vanilla ice cream!

I’m going to have to make these for my dd. She loves Snickers. It will have to be made with a gluten free recipe but I’m sure no one will notice since it will drip with Snickers.
