That looks like so much fun! Me and my husband got engaged in Chicago and that night we ate at Riva on the Navy Pier and watched the fireworks so those hold a special place in my heart. Glad you guys had a great picnic!
I was in Chicago last summer and spent some time in Grant Park. It's beautiful! We didn't see a concert but enjoyed the sites. Looks like you had a nice evening!
What fun! I can't wait to go to the GPMF this summer; I've managed to talk myself out of it the past two summers. I'll have to plan what to have for a picnic… and probably buy a picnic basket, too!
What a fabulous evening and venue! You make me want to spend the summer in Chicago!
I love evenings like this. Picnics are definitely one of my favourite ways to eat and spend time with friends…and with fireworks! how wonderful!
Ok Joelen – this really makes me miss my city 🙁
That picnic spread looks pretty fantastic. And what a great night!
