Filipino Beef Tapa

July 18, 2009 · WCC Administr@tr · Leave a Comment

This is a dish I grew up on where it beef absorbs the marinade of soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, salt and pepper… and sometimes a little sugar for sweetness. It’s even better the next day, especially with garlic fried rice and eggs to make “tapsilog”.

1 lb beef (thinly sliced)
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
salt and pepper to taste
5 to 6 cloves garlic (crushed)

Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and allow the beef to marinate overnight.
Saute the marinated beef in a little oil and cook through or fry until crispy.
