For this year's Superbowl, my brother and friends decided to throw an impromptu get together. Since I was in the suburbs for the weekend, I offered to come up with the menu and prepare it for the guys. I couldn't pass up an opportunity to cook wherever I am! Rather than coming up with the usual 'Game Day' food, I figured a menu with an ethnic touch would be more interesting. We decided on Mediterranean fare and it was a perfect! Our menu consisted of...
Appetizers
we enjoyed during the first half of the game
Bacon Wrapped Dates
Spinach & Artichoke Hummus
Roasted Red Pepper & White Bean Dip
Dinner
we enjoyed during the Halftime Show
Mediterranean Chopped Salad
Herbed Chicken Kabobs
with Cucumber Sauce & Dill Cumin Rice
Baked Falafel
(unpictured)
Whole Wheat & White Pitas
(unpictured)
Dessert
we enjoyed during the last quarter of the game
Chocolate Baklava
