Sunday Fun Day Giveaway: Peeled Snacks!

Happy Sunday! I can’t even begin to explain how happy I am to have a slight break in my schedule to do absolutely nothing. It seems like the last 2 weeks had me here, there, and everywhere. And if not somewhere, I was working through a long list of errands and tasks. Today is yet another busy day ahead but I’m looking forward to the afternoon where I will most likely throw on my pajamas and do absolutely nothing. At least, that’s the plan. Knowing how my life is, something will come up. But it’s Labor Day weekend and hopefully everyone has some fun (if not delicious) plans to celebrate as well as relax. Last week, my friends at Crumble Ons sponsored the giveaway with their fun candy treat, S’mores Crunch. A lucky reader will some packages of S’mores Crunch to play with as they’re a versatile confection to use in all sorts of things! A special thanks to Crumble Ons for sponsoring and to all those that participated, sharing what they would do with S’mores Crunch. Here’s a big Congratulations to the winner of this past week’s giveaway! Please shoot me an email at itsjoelen@gmail.com to claim your prize…

S’mores Crunch

Winner: Comment #3!

It’s September and many kids are gearing up for their first day of school for the year, if they haven’t already. A snack I enjoyed having in my lunches as a child was dried mangoes. They were slightly chewy, sweet and not to mention, healthy too. If you’re looking for a healthy snack for yourself or even for your kids to pack up to take to school, dried fruit is always a great choice. One particular brand of dried fruit I like is Peeled Snacks.

Our goal at Peeled Snacks is simple: to make you feel good about snacking. We strive to bring you the highest quality organic and natural ingredients from sustainable farms. Our snacks provide a great source of vitamins, minerals and a full serving of fruit with no added sugar.

Peeled Snacks are now available at Costco stores in the Midwest and are also available in Starbucks as well as a variety of grocery and convenience stores across the country. There are individual servings, small pouch servings and even family size packs of a variety of dried fruit mixes. You’re bound to find one you like (if not all of them!) and enjoying snacking in a more nutritious way.

Thanks to my friends at Peeled Snacks, they will be sponsoring this week’s Sunday Fun Day Giveaway! A lucky reader will receive an “Organic Fruit Picks Variety Pack“. Check out Peeled Snacks’ Facebook fan page, Twitter, and Website for additional chances to win! Read on for more details…

It's a toss up between the pineapple and the cherries. I love to take dried fruit when my husband and I go hiking.
