There was no need to go searching for a recipe. You can find it right on a package of Hershey Rolo Candies! When I sat at the table unwrapping each candy to make these, the Baron excitedly asked if I got the recipe from his mom. It wasn't until I pointed out the recipe was on the package, I realize he thought all these years his mom came up with the recipe... whoops! But really, it's so easy to make these, I'm sure everyone already knows about them. Kinda like getting a recipe for making rice krispie treats. Or ice. :) This is a great recipe to make with kids so if you know of any, encourage them to get in the kitchen with you!
20 Small pretzels (or GF pretzels from Snyders)
20 ROLO Chewy Caramels in Milk Chocolate
20 Pecan halves
Heat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Place one pretzel for each pretzel treat desired on prepared sheet. Top each pretzel with one unwrapped ROLO Chewy Caramel in Milk Chocolate.
I hope your surgery went well!
ReplyDeleteThis looks simple but very good. I actually have never heard, seen, or tasted these - however, I am looking forward to tasting them now! Check out my blog if you'd like.
ReplyDeleteJoelen: His mom didn't come up with the recipe but she got it from a friend who probably got it on the package. I never even looked for it on the package.
ReplyDeleteThese are the best! Way better then the ones covered in chocolate. Not as sweet & so easy to make
