As we have the past few years, we’ve spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with Patrick’s extended family. It’s a wonderful time and I feel so thankful they’ve welcomed us with open arms since we’ve met them. They are in essence my extended family too and I’m looking forward to seeing them this year. I’ve usually brought a dessert to share since the hosts (Patrick’s aunt & uncle, along with his mom) have their menus well thought out.
