Go Now to Go Roma!

It’s now been a little over one full week since the opening of the newest location of Go Roma restaurant in Glenview and if you haven’t ever been to their restaurant, now’s the time to go! We had a fantastic event of speedy service, great options and delicious food. So what is Go Roma all about? First off, they specialize in classic Italian fare without the lengthy wait. In fact, orders are prepared and served to your table within 7 minutes – and that’s fast! The food itself is wonderfully flavorful, fresh and so beautifully presented.

We visited the Glenview, IL Go Roma! location a few nights for their soft opening to sample their menu and help the restaurant prepare for their big grand opening. I wouldn’t have guessed they were on a soft opening because everything was done so smoothly and effortlessly! To begin, we started by ordering our selections at the counter. Once ordered, we were seated wherever we wanted. The food arrived as they were ready – not necessarily all at once. This was nice so that the food was as fresh and could enjoy it at its prime.

We started with a few flatbread pizzas, perfect for sharing or even as a meal for one. To accompany the flatbread, we also ordered a couple of their salads to share. They were fresh, light and full of great texture.

Next up were our pasta entrees – spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parmigiana, rustic rigatoni and even penne and cheese for the kiddies. The pasta dishes were wonderful – perfectly cooked pasta, still with a slight al dente texture and the sauces were full of flavor. Portions were generous and I’m amazed how quickly everything came to the table. At this point, we were pretty stuffed and had plenty to take home for leftovers!

If you have yet to experience a meal at Go Roma!, it’s the perfect time to go and check it out… you might even look at classic Italian a bit differently, knowing you can have quality Italian dishes in a flash!
