Last weekend was a cookie packed time with our Holiday Cookie Swap! So here’s a recap of our festive event for those who may want to host something similar too this season…. or even plan for next year!
First off, my Holiday Cookie Swap started with football! The Chicago Bears were playing against the San Francisco 49ers and I put out a spread of various appetizers. For our guests, I had pigs in a blanket, taco dip & chips, fresh grapes and tangerine segments, veggie croissant pizza squares, cheese, crackers and salami bites…
At halftime, we had a lunch buffet. I set up the kitchen with a buffet of dishes to accompany a holiday spiral ham with my favorite Hook Up Crock Pot entertainment system on one side. Next to it was salad, salad toppings and fresh baked rolls with butter…
On the menu was brown sugar baked spiral ham, macaroni & cheese, cheesy hashbrown casserole, steamed vegetable medley…
For drinks, we had a variety of soda and Holiday Punch served in a dispenser…
On the other side of the kitchen, I set up the cookie display. All the cookies and treats were laid out so we could see everything and it was quite the spread!
I’ll be sharing the recipes for the various cookies shared at our swap soon, but in the meantime, here are the specific cookies we all got to leave with…
All of the cookies look great but the White Chocolate Cheesecake Cookies look amazing! Please post that recipe if you can. Love your blog!
Yes! Would love some of these cookie recipes, and the recipe for the cheesy hashbrown casserole. Looks like a fun party!
Tiki cocktails are a ton of fun and just one part of the larger tiki scene. Tiki Cocktails
