It’s been a quite some time since I’ve posted something new – over a year in fact! As we are navigating through a new normal these days, I’ve had more time in the kitchen. These days, my husband and I are working from home. My son is also transitioning through a new e-learning format for school. With all of us at home now for work and school, preparing meals for the family has been a great collaborative effort. I’ve also have encouraged my family to take advantage of using small kitchen appliances out of convenience. So be on the lookout for some future recipes focused on slow cookers/crockpots, Instant Pot electric pressure cookers, and air fryers!
So with that said, I’m kicking things off with sloppy joes. This is a dish my boys love because it’s so easy to make in the crockpot and uses some pantry staples. For leftovers, we mix it up with cooked elbow macaroni to give the recipe a second life.
