I remember earlier this year when I embraced working completely remote from home. I thought of all the great breakfast meals I could create in the mornings before starting my work day. Then, reality hit. Instead of the leisurely mornings I thought I would get to enjoy, the reality is I still barely have time for breakfast and I’m working earlier and longer hours.

I had to find balance and so I began focusing on quick and easy, yet satisfying breakfasts I could enjoy. Bagels are one of those quick breakfasts folks grab for. Bakery fresh bagels are always best, especially if they are warm. Here’s where this recipe for homemade bagels comes in! All the ingredients gets combined in a bowl, hand shaped and cooked in an air fryer for 12 minutes.

I used everything seasoning but you can use your preferred seasoning as a substitute – garlic or onion seasoning, cinnamon and sugar, etc. Have fun with this base recipe and it’s one that you can use both sweet and savory variations.

Air Fryer Everything Bagels

Ingredients

1 cup flour

1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup low greek yogurt

2 tablespoons butter, melted
everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

1. In a mixing bowl combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add yogurt.

2. Stir to combine until it forms into a tacky dough.
3. Sprinkle flour onto a hard surface & roll dough into balls.
4. Take each dough ball and create a bagel shape. Place in the air fryer; cook for 12 minutes at 330 degrees.
5. Remove from air fryer. Brush the tops of each bagel with melted butter; sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
