Well, it's been quite a year thus far, hasn't it?! I don't know about you, but I've been indulging in more libations with all the current events. Being that it's summer, it's especially a good time to take advantage of the fresh fruits of the season. Here's a twist on traditional lemonade, with the addition of strawberries and pineapple. Adult versions can include the vodka... but definitely leave that out for the kiddies!

Strawberry Pineapple Lemonade

Ingredients:

2 cups of strawberries (set side some for garnish)

2 cups of pineapple diced (set aside some for garnish)

4 large lemons juiced 

2 cup water

¼ cup sugar

1 cup vodka (optional)

Ice

Directions:

1. Put strawberries, pineapple, lemon juice, water, sugar and vodka into your blender and blend until well combined.

2. Fill glasses with ice and pour mixture over top.

3. Garnish glasses with strawberries and pineapples and serve. Makes 8-10 servings
