My husband has been excited about football season and is happy he has some live action sports he can watch during this crazy time. I’m simply happy to serve up some classic football eats!

Bratwurst is the perfect meal idea to serve up, especially with German Oktoberfest kicking off this weekend. Preparing this in a crockpot makes it even easier, as a true set it and forget it recipe. You can use your choice of beer and browning your brats beforehand not only ensures they are fully cooked, but browned brats have some extra flavor!
