PRINTABLE RECIPE

The fall weather has hit us in Chicagoland, which has me excited about making some fall comfort food! It’s been a crazy busy week at work, so these Crockpot Sloppy Joes was the perfect dinner for a long day in the (home) office.

It’s been awhile since I’ve made sloppy joes and this classic recipe had me asking myself why I haven’t kept this in our usual dinner rotation throughout the year! To put a slight twist on it, I served these up on everything bagel hamburger buns for a bit of more flavor.

This recipe can be made ahead too! Prepare as written and store in the refrigerator in an airtight container until ready to serve. You can then heat up on the stove or microwave.

If you’ve made a lot or want to prep some for the freezer, this is also a freezer friendly recipe! Prepare as written and transfer to bowl to let cool, then place in freezer resealable bag or container, mark with date and name then freeze. You can then heat up on the stove or microwave.
