Air Fryer Pizza Pasta

PRINTABLE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:
8 ounces of tomato sauce
1 Tablespoon of Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon of Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon of Garlic Salt
Coarse ground black pepper – to taste
1 teaspoon of ground Oregano
1 teaspoon of sweet Basil
1 Tablespoon of Brown Sugar
Sliced Pepperoni – 1/2 package – about 8 ounces
One small can of sliced Black Olives
1/2 cup of grated Mozzarella
1/2 cup of shredded Parmesan
12 – 16 ounces of spaghetti
Spray Olive Oil

INSTRUCTIONS
Boil Spaghetti according to package directions for al dente pasta.  Cooking pasta ‘al dente’ simply means cooking it until it’s still firm and not soft. Check the directions on the package and follow suggested times for al dente, or firm pasta.

Drain spaghetti and place in a large bowl. Add tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, garlic salt, pepper, oregano, basil, brown sugar, grated mozzarella, and shredded parmesan. Toss all ingredients together until well combined.

Spray a baking dish such as a round cake pan that fits in your air fryer with cooking spray.

Transfer pasta mixture into baking dish and top with sliced pepperoni, sliced back olives (optional), and a little more shredded cheese.

Place the dish in the air fryer basket and set the time for 10 minutes, at 350 degrees.

Remove from air fryer, garnish with chopped parsley and serve with crusty Italian bread. Makes 4 to 6 servings
