Ingredients
- Bow tie pasta – 1 cup uncooked
- Olive oil – 2.25 tsps
- Butter – 1.5 tsp
- All-purpose flour – 1.5 tsp
- Minced garlic – 0.5 tsp
- Red pepper flakes (crushed) – One dash
- Salt – One dash
- Dried basil – One dash
- Chicken broth – 2 tbsps
- Water – 1 tbsp
- 2% milk – 3 tbsps
- Sour cream – 1 tbsp
- Grated parmesan cheese – 2 tbsps
Instructions
- Take a large pot and fill it with salted water. Boil the pasta in the pot until it is soft to chew.
- Place a medium skillet or pan on your stove and pour oil on it while keeping the heat on low.
- Add softened butter to the pan and allow it to melt.
- Put the flour into the skillet with melted butter and mix the ingredients using a plastic spatula.
- Add salt and crushed minced garlic to the pan and stir again using the spatula.
- Place dried basil and red chili flakes in the mixture and stir again.
- Now add milk, water, and chicken broth to the pan.
- Stir the ingredients and let them reach a mild boil.
- Add sour cream to the mixture and stir again.
- Finally, add parmesan cheese and boiled pasta to the skillet.
- Mix the pasta properly in the sauce and let it cook for a few minutes on the stove.
