Fudgy Brownies Recipe

Fudgy Brownies Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped nuts, optional

Fudgy Brownies Recipe Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate together in a medium pan over very low heat.
  3. Stir together and remove from the heat. Add sugar, eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. Stir in the flour and salt. Add nuts.
  5. Spread the mixture into a buttered 8-inch square pan.
  6. Bake until set, about 40 minutes.
  7. Cool before cutting.
