1. Take a small bowl and put 7 to 8 cherry tomatoes in it.
2. Add pesto sauce and sliced red onions, and ground black pepper to the bowl and mix it.
3. Take a baking sheet and spray it with non-stick spray. Then place the seasoned cherry tomatoes on the baking sheet.
4. Preheat the oven to around 200C or 400F.
5. Now place the baking tray with the cherry tomatoes in the oven and let it bake for around 10 minutes. Once the first 10 minutes are over, take the tomatoes out and shake the tray a bit and bake it for another 10 minutes. This will ensure that the tomatoes are cooked evenly.
6. Sprinkle kosher salt and black pepper on the salmon fillets.
7. Now spread the pesto sauce over the salmon fillets. Make sure to spread it evenly over the top side of the fillet.
